Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.

Today's question is:

Question: "What areas should I be targeting if I wanted to promote my business in the Placer County, Sacramento area?"

Answer from Alex - Zora Nova Agency

“So if you want to promote your business in, Placer County and Sacramento area, how should you go about targeting that?

hyperlocal targeting. what I mean by that is on Google and SEO, emphasize cities that you live in. Start with where your business is at, the city that you live in your office is at. So in my case, it'll be in Lincoln. Then I move on to a larger city right next to me, Rocklin, Roseville, and then Folsom, Granite Bay, and so forth. All right?

Put yourself within, a 10, 15-mile radius around your business and go on Facebook and Instagram and geotarget and run ads within that 10 to radius around your business.

Don't underestimate partnership. Get involved in community events, team up with a nonprofit, 'cause that's gonna really help build trust, and make sure you're listed on all the local directories. Those are like back links that will help drive traffic to your website.

That's something that a local market agency, can help you with, and, it's where your effort gets the best return and steer away from wasting budget is talking to somebody that knows the area.”
